Privacy policy

This is the personal website of Mohammed Alrashid. I built it to collect as little as possible. This page explains what does get collected, by whom, and why.
The short version
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking cookies.
- Most of the tools run entirely in your browser and send nothing anywhere.
- This site only gets what you choose to send through the contact form.
When you visit
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes each request, including your IP address, browser details, and the page you asked for, so it can deliver the site and protect it from attacks. I don't add analytics on top of that. Cloudflare's handling is covered by its privacy policy.
The site sets no cookies of its own. If Cloudflare ever has to check that a visitor isn't a bot, it may set a short-lived security cookie for that check.
The contact form
When you press Send, your name, email address, and message go to Web3Forms, a form delivery service that emails them to me. My email is hosted by Apple iCloud Mail. The same applies if you email me directly.
I use what you send only to read it and reply. Messages stay in my mailbox until I delete them, and you can ask me to delete yours at any time.
The tools
The secret generator, subnet calculator, email header analyzer, log viewer, and CyberChef run entirely on your device. What you enter never leaves your browser.
CyberChef can keep your favorite operations, options, and saved recipes in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, and you can clear them in your browser settings. CyberChef's network operations, such as HTTP request, contact the addresses you give them.
Two tools use online services, and only after you press Look up: the CVE and CVSS lookup asks NVD and FIRST, and the domain and IP lookup asks Cloudflare's DNS resolver, rdap.org and the registries it points to, and Team Cymru. Each tool's page lists exactly what goes where. This site never receives your lookups.

I don't sell, rent, or share personal information, and I don't use it for advertising or profiling.

You can ask me what I have from you, or ask me to correct or delete it. Use the contact page and I'll answer as soon as I can.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
